Teacher Board Representative Candidate Statement – Nimco Jama

Hello,
My name is Nimco Jama. I am an ELA teacher at
Delta. I have worked with grades 1,2, and 5 this last
year and have really enjoyed working with them!
Additionally, I served as the teacher representative on
the school board for the 2025-2026 school year. I
enjoy the work we do and find problem solving very
meaningful. I'd like to run again for the teacher
representative position so that I can keep working
with the team and give our students the best
opportunities.
